The supporters of Nerquihue booed when Planchada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nastasio Quijada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Vicent Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Plácido Ovalle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Planchada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
