Matteo Elzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sansón Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Eugenio Pappenheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matteo Elzo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 17th minute, but Matteo Elzo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Guayacan hanging dry this time. Eugenio Pappenheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huape FC's Mohamed Almazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ignacio Codina in the 21st minute of play. After 30 minutes, Eugenio Pappenheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guayacan and the Huape FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eugenio Pappenheim hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sansón Lazcano in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matteo Elzo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 minutes of play, Guayacan's Eugenio Pappenheim made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Almazan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordi Maillard got free with Matteo Elzo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Guayacan's zone, Jordi Maillard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matteo Elzo came out of the goal and Jordi Maillard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Guayacan's Matteo Elzo got control of the ball when Sansón Lazcano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Huape FC booed when Guayacan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mónico Marraccini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Jose Manuel Soler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huape FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sansón Lazcano to make the kick off. If Jordi Maillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Huape FC's goalkeeper Mohamed Almazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Pappenheim. Matteo Elzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sansón Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jose Manuel Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sansón Lazcano in the 76th minute of play forced Guayacan's goalkeeper Matteo Elzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Huape FC booed when Guayacan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Traverso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayacan's goalkeeper Matteo Elzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Plácido Berau hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Francisco Ignacio Codina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Almazan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Jordi Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jordi Maillard struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Matteo Elzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huape FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sansón Lazcano in the 94th minute of play forced Guayacan's goalkeeper Matteo Elzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, one of Guayacan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guayacan. The referee gave Huape FC a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Plácido Berau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guayacan's Matteo Elzo. 3-2. Sansón Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Matteo Elzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huape FC. Sansón Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Matteo Elzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huape FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
