Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chacay FC's Tomás Aguirrebeña started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Lupica's Serafín Heyboer got a free kick in the 4th minute. Salbatore Pino, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Simón Macchiavello fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacay FC's protests and gave Simón Macchiavello a yellow card for diving instead. Simón Macchiavello kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Paulín Solezzi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Lupica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulín Solezzi couldn't finish the play. Niguel Zanetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Aguirrebeña in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Tomás Aguirrebeña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niguel Zanetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lupica's Paulín Solezzi got a free kick in the 21st minute. Quintán Dagorret's late challenge caught a Chacay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintán Dagorret helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Quintán Dagorret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Lupica's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Aguirrebeña came free, but Niguel Zanetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lupica booed when Chacay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Aguirrebeña didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Quintán Dagorret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Asier Jara kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tomás Aguirrebeña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Niguel Zanetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lupica defense, Tomás Aguirrebeña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niguel Zanetta. The Lupica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niguel Zanetta should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simón Macchiavello in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niguel Zanetta saved Lupica from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Asier Jara was the one to do the kick off. Isidoro Herzl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomás Aguirrebeña came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Chacay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Aguirrebeña couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Chacay FC's Tomás Aguirrebeña ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niguel Zanetta. Niguel Zanetta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Tomás Aguirrebeña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Niguel Zanetta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Aguirrebeña struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Niguel Zanetta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacay FC. 73 minutes into the match, Lupica's Quintán Dagorret sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Prieto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Lupica's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Aguirrebeña came free, but Niguel Zanetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asier Jara kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Tomás Aguirrebeña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niguel Zanetta having to interfere. Paulín Solezzi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulín Solezzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomás Aguirrebeña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niguel Zanetta having to interfere. Niguel Zanetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Aguirrebeña in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chacay FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
