Spectators: 7337 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teodoro Sastre started the match with the kick off. Danilo Wilson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menéndez Despouy in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Sastre in the 9th minute of play forced Marimenuco FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Porte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Fouillioux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Porte having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Andreo Cattalán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marimenuco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Adelino Fouillioux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Porte having to interfere. Erasmo Porte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Sastre in the 23rd minute of play. Danilo Wilson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menéndez Despouy, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. From a short distance, Peroncho's Teodoro Sastre, in the 28th minute, tried to place the ball behind Erasmo Porte, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. When Adelino Fouillioux came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Peroncho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Fouillioux couldn't finish the play. If Menéndez Despouy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marimenuco FC's Erasmo Porte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Sastre in the 39th minute of play. José Julio Ahues charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Julio Ahues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Peroncho got a freekick which was hit by José Julio Ahues. Adelino Fouillioux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Porte having to interfere. After the first half Marimenuco FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreo Cattalán made a kick off. Menéndez Despouy in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danilo Wilson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Erasmo Porte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Fouillioux, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Peroncho's Adelino Fouillioux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Porte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodoro Sastre might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Porte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Sastre ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Fouillioux in the 71st minute of play forced Marimenuco FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Porte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Porte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Fouillioux in the 78th minute of the match. Andreo Cattalán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreo Cattalán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Adelino Fouillioux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Porte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marimenuco FC's Menéndez Despouy got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andreo Cattalán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Peroncho's Danilo Wilson got control of the ball when Menéndez Despouy tried to sneak it across the goal line.
