Pilmahue's Ireno Somarriva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreo Cattalán in the 5th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Marimenuco FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Quesada. In the 13th minute, Árpád Barabás made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Porte. Marimenuco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Árpád Barabás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Porte was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Pilmahue's Árpád Barabás dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Pilmahue's attack was well implemented in the 22nd minute, but when Árpád Barabás was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 23 minutes into the game, Andreo Cattalán cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ireno Somarriva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erasmo Porte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Árpád Barabás in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marimenuco FC's zone, Flavio Walker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Porte came out of the goal and Flavio Walker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Árpád Barabás's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erasmo Porte firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Árpád Barabás made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Porte. Marimenuco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Marimenuco FC's zone, Árpád Barabás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Porte came out of the goal and Árpád Barabás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Marimenuco FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nikita Duzhik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Flavio Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pilmahue's Árpád Barabás got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The Pilmahue fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Pilmahue's Árpád Barabás looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th minute, Andreo Cattalán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Árpád Barabás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilmahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Árpád Barabás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pilmahue's Ireno Somarriva got control of the ball when Menéndez Despouy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marimenuco FC's zone, Odín Walton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Porte came out of the goal and Odín Walton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Árpád Barabás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marimenuco FC's Erasmo Porte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Árpád Barabás struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Erasmo Porte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilmahue. If Odín Walton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, Marimenuco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufino Pascal to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Porte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Árpád Barabás's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Erasmo Porte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odín Walton, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Nikita Duzhik scored 6-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Porte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Pilmahue booed when Marimenuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufino Pascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pilmahue walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
