Roy Sazies short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Eufemio Iturgoyen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eufemio Iturgoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Calquín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Próspero Schulz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaico AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 27th minute of the match Eulalio Pascuala shot from a long distance. The referee ignored Guaico AFC's protests and gave Elodio Iriarte a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guaico AFC's Elodio Iriarte got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Zacarías Kroon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 51 minutes Guaico AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Ibarboure who took care of the corner kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. In the 57th match minute, Huasco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Campos to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Roy Sazie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guaico AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Israel Quezada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The Guaico AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Huasco AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
