The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Pepinos F.C.'s Tauno Valmas got control of the ball when Florián Browne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Florián Browne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pepinos F.C.'s Normando Barbero got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ariel Alveal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lois Martínez in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Spectre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Manuel Massa came free, but Ariel Alveal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florián Browne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Tauno Valmas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Spectre FC's Ariel Alveal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Manuel Massa in the 18th minute of play. Tauno Valmas made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Florián Browne sent off a good shot on target. Lois Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Alveal having to interfere. Ariano Gallo's late challenge caught a Spectre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariano Gallo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Ariano Gallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Pedro Manuel Massa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ariel Alveal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Florián Browne put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tauno Valmas. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florián Browne to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Spectre FC got a corner. Pepinos F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florián Browne ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tanausu Bastic got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tauno Valmas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florián Browne in the 54th minute of play forced Pepinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Tauno Valmas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lois Martínez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Alveal came out and tried to block the shot, but Lois Martínez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. After 68 played minutes Pepinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lois Martínez. Ariel Alveal was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Lois Martínez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lois Martínez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ariel Alveal made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Pedro Manuel Massa sent off a good shot on target. When Spectre FC's Florián Browne in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pepinos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Florián Browne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tauno Valmas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Esequiel Basauri thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tauno Valmas, a very annoying self made goal in the 91st minute which led to 3-3. Ariel Alveal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lois Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spectre FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
