After a defensive mix-up in Real Viña del Mar's zone, Ceferino Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorencio Carrizo came out of the goal and Ceferino Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorencio Carrizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Fonseca went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Omar Duguid notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Noviciado FC's Jorge Vicente Unger. Jorge Vicente Unger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ceferino Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Noviciado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Fonseca couldn't finish the play. After having played for 42 minutes, Pau Mariluan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Viña del Mar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pau Mariluan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noviciado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorencio Carrizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Lorencio Carrizo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ceferino Fonseca scored 1-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorencio Carrizo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Omar Camilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
