If Rollo Gibson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Píriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Selmo Fabres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abner Pedregal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ernesto Ibieta's late challenge caught a Talami AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Ibieta helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Lincay FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Ibieta. Jose Píriz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Abner Pedregal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talami AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Frances Patrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lincay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frances Patrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lander Quilempan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Lincay FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Talami AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Talami AFC.
