Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amado Carrera started the match with the kick off. Sixers's Tor Caszely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Carrera in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Carrera in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Caszely saved Sixers from getting behind. In the 4th minute, Reynaldo Nordon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sixers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Nordon in the 8th minute of play forced Cholchol AFC's goalkeeper Rufino Mac Donald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Juan Carlos Layseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Amado Carrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sixers's Tor Caszely was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24 played minutes Cholchol AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eloi Calabrano. After 25 played minutes, Sixers's Francisco Ignacio Azócar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rufino Mac Donald came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sixers reached it. After some careless play in the Cholchol AFC defense, Juan Carlos Layseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rufino Mac Donald. The Cholchol AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rufino Mac Donald should have stopped the shot.

Tor Caszely stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramón Ansaldo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Niceto Llamllam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sixers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cholchol AFC the free kick. Niceto Llamllam hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Nordon in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rufino Mac Donald prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ramón Ansaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Amado Carrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Somarriva during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rufino Mac Donald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Nordon in the 87th minute of play. When Rogerio De la Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sixers's protests and gave Rogerio De la Quintana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Rogerio De la Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixers's Tor Caszely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Ansaldo in the 90th minute of play. Amado Carrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Caszely having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Caszely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sixers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
