Lorencio Ledea's late challenge caught a Cholguan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorencio Ledea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, one of Barnechea FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barnechea FC. In the 26th minute of the game, Cholguan got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Gervasio Doursther successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute Juan Fernando Aylwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Doursther saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adriel Ancavil fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barnechea FC's protests and gave Adriel Ancavil a yellow card for diving instead. Florín Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
