Cosme Fridman made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Darien Aldana sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Cosme Fridman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darien Aldana. Enrico Larrea's late challenge caught a Deportivo cali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Larrea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Enrico Larrea hit a great ball. After 95 minutes Esmeralda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Arteta who took care of the corner kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
