José Javier Granada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Francisco Ibáñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Javier Granada, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Majada FC's Delfino Major got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by José Javier Granada got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Almendral FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Majada FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ambrosio Willis took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Eric Srain managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd minute, José Marcelo Peredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Alexandro Guillestegui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Majada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandro Guillestegui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Javier Granada in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Francisco Ibáñez saved Majada FC from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Javier Granada to strike the kick off in the second half. When José Javier Granada came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Almendral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Javier Granada couldn't finish the play. Almendral FC's Federico Poisson got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, Almendral FC's Federico Poisson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Francisco Ibáñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Almendral FC's José Javier Granada in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Federico Poisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Francisco Ibáñez having to interfere. If Ondino Vildosola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Poisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Ondino Vildosola fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Higinio Morel, passed just outside the right post. When Majada FC's Ondino Vildosola in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Roy Hardy fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almendral FC's protests and gave Roy Hardy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Almendral FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roy Hardy hit a great ball. Almendral FC's Higinio Morel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ondino Vildosola in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Almendral FC were the better team. Almendral FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
