Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adelmo Quijada made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Geraldo Ronda sent off a good shot on target. Regino Paternost's late challenge caught a Cariguano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Regino Paternost helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pancoras FC's Regino Paternost got a free kick in the 4th minute. Quique Aulestia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaume Andrews having to interfere. In the 21st minute Quique Aulestia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaume Andrews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabio Gaviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quique Aulestia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pancoras FC's Fabio Gaviño in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cariguano's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Fabio Gaviño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaume Andrews was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Ronda got free with Adelmo Quijada in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cariguano's Teodor Portillo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Geraldo Ronda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariguano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo Ronda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Teodor Portillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodor Portillo made a kick off. Fabio Gaviño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jaume Andrews made a huge save. If Geraldo Ronda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Teodor Portillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cariguano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Geraldo Ronda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Quique Aulestia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaume Andrews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quique Aulestia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jaume Andrews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Ronda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelmo Quijada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo Ronda's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 80th match minute, Pancoras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blanco Chadwick to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Ezmundo Alava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pancoras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cariguano the free kick. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pancoras FC! In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Cariguano. Ubaldo Melipil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adelmo Quijada. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Geraldo Ronda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cariguano's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Ronda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelmo Quijada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelmo Quijada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Ronda, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Cariguano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
