Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Alen in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck León Roquant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Alen in the 44th minute of play forced Club del Poker Fc's goalkeeper León Roquant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Alen made a kick off. León Roquant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Lazcano in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Club del Poker Fc got a freekick which was hit by José Francisco Quero. Angelo Portalupi's late challenge caught a Club del Poker Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Portalupi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club del Poker Fc booed when Lecam AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Portalupi didn't get a good kick on the ball. León Roquant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Alen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute of the match, Eric Lazcano got a very nice opportunity to score, but León Roquant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 82nd minute, Miquel Pinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club del Poker Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Lecam AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play.
