Octavio Serna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Elorreaga in the 18th minute of play. Baldomiro Poyancos kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Florencio Necochea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rubén Simaverti had several of the indomables FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Slaven Malbašić as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of indomables FC booed when Loa River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Palamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Pierre Lyon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slaven Malbašić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre Lyon to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierre Lyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Slaven Malbašić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Alfonso Budge kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Amancio Lisperguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A very good chance. indomables FC's Slaven Malbašić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Palamara in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Pierre Lyon made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. indomables FC's Slaven Malbašić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amancio Lisperguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slaven Malbašić having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Loa River fully deserved thier win.
