Pierre Darricades ran back to his position shaking his head. Fulco Brotfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Quinchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Geraldo Maino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Armanet in the 20th minute of play. Geraldo Maino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Armanet in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Huaitane booed when Charipujo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Martín Masoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulco Brotfeld showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Charipujo FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luis Angel Undurraga hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Huaitane's Jimeno Vicencio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Huaitane booed when Charipujo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Ángel Quinchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Armanet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Pierre Darricades made the kick off in the second half. When Angelino Manns came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Huaitane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Manns couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Angelino Manns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Charipujo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Armanet came free, but Geraldo Maino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Juan Ignacio Hormann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charipujo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huaitane the free kick.
