In the 5th match minute, Curana AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatán Campo to maneuver through the defense. If Juan Cristóbal Rabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierre Ruffat made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Telmo Musalem sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergio Delporte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pierre Ruffat. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Abdón Arangua charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdón Arangua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Abdón Arangua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Ruffat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telmo Musalem in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Curana AFC got a freekick which was hit by José Alberto Albert. Jonatán Campo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Juan Cristóbal Rabe might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Ruffat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Cristóbal Rabe ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Curana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florián Carranza came free, but Pierre Ruffat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Cristóbal Rabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Ruffat having to interfere. Juan Cristóbal Rabe might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Ruffat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Cristóbal Rabe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Jonatán Campo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VINOTINTO FC's Telmo Musalem got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Sergio Delporte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VINOTINTO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Delporte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierre Ruffat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florián Carranza in the 41st minute of play.

Pierre Ruffat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florián Carranza in the 51st minute of the match. Curana AFC's Pierre Ruffat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Cristóbal Rabe in the 54th minute of play. Telmo Musalem struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Pierre Ruffat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VINOTINTO FC. Pierre Ruffat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Musalem in the 58th minute of the match. If Florián Carranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Brian Schmauk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play Curana AFC's Jonatán Campo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Florián Carranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pierre Ruffat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Telmo Musalem managed to get in a good position for a shot. VINOTINTO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Musalem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Ruffat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telmo Musalem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Ruffat having to interfere. José Alberto Albert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Severino Alvear when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Telmo Musalem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curana AFC's goalkeeper Pierre Ruffat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. VINOTINTO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
