Puaun's Urtsín Schlubach got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Van Schowen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Salamón L´Hotelier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsín Schlubach in the 15th minute of play. When Esteban Van Schowen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. Esteban Van Schowen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Urtsín Schlubach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Urtsín Schlubach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puaun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Salamón L´Hotelier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtsín Schlubach in the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Huenaliben FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Albin Izamit hit a great ball. Juan Antonio Abuauad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Salamón L´Hotelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urtsín Schlubach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Huenaliben FC's goalkeeper Salamón L´Hotelier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Antonio Abuauad. In the 60th minute, Urtsín Schlubach fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salamón L´Hotelier, passed just outside the right post. In the 61st minute, Igon Patrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Dionisio Mahns sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salamón L´Hotelier skillfully saved the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Remi Gajardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huenaliben FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puaun the free kick. In the 63rd minute, one of Huenaliben FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huenaliben FC. Huenaliben FC:s Salamón L´Hotelier showed great skill when he stopped Dionisio Mahns:s penalty. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huenaliben FC's goalkeeper Salamón L´Hotelier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urtsín Schlubach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Ermegildo Gormaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huenaliben FC and the Puaun players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Urtsín Schlubach came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Puaun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtsín Schlubach couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Huenaliben FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igon Patrick to maneuver through the defense.
