The penalty shot was made by Narcís Urra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puaun's Emilio Felipe Antúnez. 0-2. Honorio Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Felipe Antúnez having to interfere. If Urtsín Schlubach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Eric Ceballos came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Chorrillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Ceballos couldn't finish the play. Urtsín Schlubach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimír Cuminao having to interfere. Emilio Felipe Antúnez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Ceballos in the 38th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urtsín Schlubach made a kick off. If Honorio Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puaun's Emilio Felipe Antúnez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Puaun from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Manterola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorrillos AFC the free kick. A collision led to Puaun getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Casimír Cuminao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chorrillos AFC's Casimír Cuminao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsín Schlubach in the 70th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Jon-Ander Aldunate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorrillos AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Puaun's Jon-Ander Aldunate got a free kick in the 77th minute. Chorrillos AFC's Eric Ceballos got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Felipe Antúnez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Urbano in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Chorrillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Wood. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chorrillos AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
