Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Cumina FC's Miliano Lizondo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eufemio Disselkoen kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Miliano Lizondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Silvio Piedra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvio Piedra made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rómulo Campos sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Rodolfo Charme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paniquihue's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Charme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Wittemberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Paniquihue's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Lizondo came free, but Silvio Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Paniquihue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eufemio Disselkoen to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Cumina FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Abarza. Eric Wittemberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Gafo in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cumina FC's zone, Rodolfo Charme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Wittemberg came out of the goal and Rodolfo Charme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Miliano Lizondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Piedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Paniquihue's goalkeeper Silvio Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rómulo Campos. Rodolfo Charme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Guillermo Gafo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paniquihue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Gafo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Paniquihue's Rodolfo Charme in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 62nd minute, Podador Massuh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Juan Pablo Lois in the 63rd minute of play was well struck, but Eric Wittemberg made a really good save at the right post. 66 minutes into the match, Cumina FC's goalkeeper Eric Wittemberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Gafo. In the 68th minute, Rómulo Campos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cumina FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Podador Massuh hit a great ball. Guillermo Gafo scored 3-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Wittemberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miliano Lizondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Piedra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Cumina FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Podador Massuh hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Cumina FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceandro Mahuzier. Cumina FC's Eric Wittemberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Charme in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Ceandro Mahuzier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cumina FC and the Paniquihue players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cumina FC's Ceandro Mahuzier got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cumina FC's Podador Massuh got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paniquihue's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
