Almireses AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlín Aldana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Wittemberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Máximo Manghy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Wittemberg having to interfere. A collision led to Cumina FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Podador Massuh hit a great ball. With a little luck, Cumina FC's Eric Wittemberg got control of the ball when Manu Gronows tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Álvaro Mitrovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobías Labbé took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rómulo Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Wittemberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manu Gronows in the 30th minute of the match. Xavi Hanssen's late challenge caught a Almireses AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavi Hanssen helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Cumina FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavi Hanssen. After a rather tough play, Almireses AFC's Jose Ramon Bunster got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Máximo Manghy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Wittemberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Armenta in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Jose Ramon Bunster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Wittemberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Máximo Manghy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cumina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almireses AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cumina FC's Podador Massuh got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, Máximo Manghy made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cumina FC's Eric Wittemberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cumina FC's Eric Wittemberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Manghy in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Antonio Armenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Wittemberg. Cumina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Armenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Eric Wittemberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlín Aldana in the 75th minute of play. Eric Wittemberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Manghy, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Cumina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Manghy came free, but Eric Wittemberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máximo Manghy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Almireses AFC's Máximo Manghy in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cumina FC's goalie prevented a goal. Máximo Manghy might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Wittemberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Máximo Manghy ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Manghy in the 90th minute of play forced Cumina FC's goalkeeper Eric Wittemberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Wittemberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manu Gronows went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Almireses AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
