Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodolfo Charme started the match with the kick off. Paniquihue's Silvio Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Klickmann in the 5th minute of play. Silvio Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Javier Palau in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, José Javier Palau made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paniquihue's Silvio Piedra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Odín Marull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Gafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Joel Mac Kenney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Klickmann in the 24th minute of play. Rodolfo Charme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Mac Kenney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Guillermo Gafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paniquihue's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Gafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Mac Kenney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Mac Kenney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Charme, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Rodolfo Charme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ocoa's Remi Crawley got a free kick in the 40th minute. Silvio Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Javier Palau in the 44th minute of play. Joel Mac Kenney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Charme in the 46th minute of play. Guillermo Gafo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Joel Mac Kenney made a huge save.
The wind increased when Hilario Klickmann made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Charme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Joel Mac Kenney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Charme notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ocoa's Joel Mac Kenney. Joel Mac Kenney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ocoa's zone, Guillermo Gafo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Mac Kenney came out of the goal and Guillermo Gafo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remi Crawley's late challenge caught a Paniquihue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remi Crawley helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the match, Paniquihue's Juan Pablo Lois broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When José Javier Palau came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ocoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Javier Palau couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Charme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guillermo Gafo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paniquihue's protests and gave Guillermo Gafo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paniquihue getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Guillermo Gafo hit a great ball. Silvio Piedra made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Remi Crawley sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Paniquihue's Guillermo Gafo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Mac Kenney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 95 played minutes Ocoa got a freekick which was hit by Odín Marull. Paniquihue were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ocoa for a fine match.
