Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Calvino Schele started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Alqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Saúl Abeliuk to maneuver through the defense. Alqui's Gabino Claro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvino Schele in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alqui's zone, Jose Ramon Puccio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabino Claro came out of the goal and Jose Ramon Puccio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Quillen FC's Jose Ramon Puccio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabino Claro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 36th minute Giancarlo Crawley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Campaña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remicio Triviño's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erik Campaña firmly grabbed it by the left post. Calvino Schele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Gabino Claro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giancarlo Crawley made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvino Schele in the 56th minute of play forced Alqui's goalkeeper Gabino Claro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Remicio Triviño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remicio Triviño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Alqui got a corner. Quillen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amador Arlegui ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Alqui's corner Amador Arlegui fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erik Campaña quite easily take care of the ball. After 61 played minutes Quillen FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ramon Puccio. 68 minutes into the match, Quillen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giancarlo Crawley came free, but Erik Campaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giancarlo Crawley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Quillen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remicio Triviño came free, but Erik Campaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damario Astudillo's late challenge caught a Alqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quillen FC's Calvino Schele got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Calvino Schele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabino Claro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Schele in the 92nd minute of the match. Giancarlo Crawley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
