In the 12th match minute, Quellon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yeray Aristizaval to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentín Porte having to interfere. With a little luck, Quellon AFC's Quentín Porte got control of the ball when Baldomiro Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Quellon AFC defense, Francisco Alberto Honorato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentín Porte. The Quellon AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentín Porte should have stopped the shot. After 24 minutes of play, Capellania's Baldomiro Lara made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentín Porte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quentín Porte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Alberto Honorato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Firmín Lattanzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubén Manterola was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Baldomiro Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Quentín Porte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Alberto Honorato made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Francisco Alberto Honorato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quentín Porte was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When Ismael Green fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capellania's protests and gave Ismael Green a yellow card for diving instead. Quellon AFC:s Quentín Porte showed great skill when he stopped Fabricio Haverbeck:s penalty. Capellania's Francisco Alberto Honorato got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Quellon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Xalvador Amenábar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quellon AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Capellania.
