Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) DEOXIS F.C.'s Victorio Millape started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Amato Cordero managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Magallanes FC's Bertrán Abaitua fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Magallanes FC's Jacob Balbontín got a free kick in the 7th minute. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Victorio Millape sped through Magallanes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Piedra. Joaquin Camacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amato Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DEOXIS F.C.'s Nazario Villaseñor got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patricio Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Millape in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Victorio Millape cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Patricio Piedra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertrán Abaitua in the 24th minute of play forced DEOXIS F.C.'s goalkeeper Amato Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertrán Abaitua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Amato Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match Jacob Balbontín sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amato Cordero skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to DEOXIS F.C. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dionisio Escandón hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Pyrtek in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Piedra saved Magallanes FC from getting behind. Magallanes FC's Jacob Balbontín shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amato Cordero but with some difficulty. In the 47th minute, Victorio Millape left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEOXIS F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertrán Abaitua to make the kick off. Bertrán Abaitua took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amato Cordero. Amato Cordero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Rómulo Arriaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Magallanes FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Magallanes FC's Bertrán Abaitua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Magallanes FC's Bertrán Abaitua in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. DEOXIS F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 83 played minutes DEOXIS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Guntademaro Rosas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertrán Abaitua in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amato Cordero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Camacho charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Camacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rómulo Arriaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Amato Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Piedra stood somewhat misplaced when Nazario Villaseñor came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 91 minute. Victorio Millape sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute Victorio Millape shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Magallanes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DEOXIS F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for DEOXIS F.C..
