Caupolicán Moran charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caupolicán Moran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Dionisio Escandón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Rompe mallas's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Millape came free, but Orlando Magdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jerzy Pyrtek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to DEOXIS F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Adolfo Landea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Millape in the 59th minute of play forced Rompe mallas's goalkeeper Orlando Magdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes DEOXIS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Landea. Caupolicán Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Amato Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match Ramiro Mujica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amato Cordero skillfully saved the ball. Orlando Magdahl didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when DEOXIS F.C.'s Victorio Millape shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Nazario Villaseñor came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the DEOXIS F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazario Villaseñor couldn't finish the play. Jerardo Massoc kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Orlando Magdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Millape in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rompe mallas's Ramiro Mujica got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes, Nazario Villaseñor made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rompe mallas's Orlando Magdahl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes DEOXIS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Escandón. José Antonio Duran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in DEOXIS F.C.'s zone, José Antonio Duran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amato Cordero came out of the goal and José Antonio Duran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerzy Pyrtek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jerzy Pyrtek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Millape in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Magdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the DEOXIS F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
