Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Salvador Subercaseaux started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jeronimo Duguid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Magnasco in the 3rd minute of the match. Jeronimo Duguid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Duguid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Canitrot went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Salvador Subercaseaux fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guancarane's protests and gave Salvador Subercaseaux a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guancarane's Salvador Subercaseaux got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Martino Alzaga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeronimo Duguid. Guancarane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute Andoni Magnasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Duguid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Andoni Jáuregui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Raúl Bacigalupi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andoni Magnasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeronimo Duguid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andoni Magnasco ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Baldomiro Canitrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balada's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Canitrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Duguid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Archibaldo Urceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Andoni Magnasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Duguid was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Juan Raúl Bacigalupi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Duguid. Jeronimo Duguid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. David Israel Barrios might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Vino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Israel Barrios ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Andoni Magnasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andoni Magnasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Duguid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andoni Magnasco's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Andoni Magnasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Canitrot struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jeronimo Duguid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balada. The audience was convinced that Andoni Magnasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Duguid was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Alberto Barcena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes in the game, Andoni Magnasco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeronimo Duguid having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Andoni Magnasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Duguid was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Balada's Martino Alzaga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Martino Alzaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andoni Magnasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jeronimo Duguid when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Andoni Magnasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balada's supporters rose to their feet, but Andoni Magnasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Duguid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Duguid was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andoni Magnasco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 85 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Balada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guancarane.
