Caylloma AFC's Armando Echeverz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mónico Becerra in the 20th minute of play. Armando Echeverz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerardo Pirola in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Américo Larrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Haverbeck came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Caylloma AFC's Constantino Doberti. But to his dismay, Constantino Doberti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Mónico Becerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Armando Echeverz made a huge save. Cristofer Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Echeverz having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Caylloma AFC's Américo Larrea made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Haverbeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Dragicevic during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caylloma AFC booed when Lota City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Dragicevic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Haverbeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adán Moreno in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mónico Becerra made a kick off. Lota City FC's Leonel Haverbeck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Lota City FC from getting a goal against them. When Cristofer Talavera came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Lota City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristofer Talavera couldn't finish the play. Caylloma AFC played a much better game than Lota City FC and deserved their victory. The Lota City FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
