In the 14th minute Mónico Becerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenzo Armaza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Haverbeck. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Cristofer Talavera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Mora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Mónico Becerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lautaro Mora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Dragicevic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Armaza in the 43rd minute of play forced Lota City FC's goalkeeper Leonel Haverbeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Domenico Badal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Armaza to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Puchultisa FC's zone, Flavio Dragicevic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Mora came out of the goal and Flavio Dragicevic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Puchultisa FC's Lautaro Mora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Puchultisa FC from getting a goal against them. Mónico Becerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Mora having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Antipa in the 94th minute of play forced Lota City FC's goalkeeper Leonel Haverbeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Mónico Becerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
