Benito Madina made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Filiph Malmgren sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Madina having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Filiph Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiph Malmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Cristiano Gundian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Demetrio Goñi fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linares AFC's protests and gave Demetrio Goñi a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes into the game, one of Linares AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benito Madina went to the wrong direction when Filipo Najera was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Filiph Malmgren struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Benito Madina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JSM. Emilio Felipe Trepte's late challenge caught a JSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Felipe Trepte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Linares AFC's Emilio Felipe Trepte got a free kick in the 29th minute. With his leg Benito Madina managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when JSM's Filiph Malmgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 34 minutes, Santiago Gebler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linares AFC and the JSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Linares AFC's Santiago Gebler got a free kick in the 34th minute. Rodolfo Larose hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, JSM's Filiph Malmgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Madina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Filiph Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The JSM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.

Menéndez Schmidt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Madina having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salbatore Hesler got free with Tomás Mac Auliffe in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filiph Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Madina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiph Malmgren's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Alejandro Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Madina having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Linares AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Malmgren came free, but Benito Madina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Tomás Mac Auliffe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute, Demetrio Goñi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Filiph Malmgren put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Madina. Filiph Malmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Madina having to interfere. Benito Madina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menéndez Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the game, Alejandro Gallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Madina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JSM had played much better football throughout.
