In the 23rd minute of the match Federico Garland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josías Serre skillfully saved the ball. When Pere Jordi Souza came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Cherquenco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pere Jordi Souza couldn't finish the play. Cherquenco 's Jon-Ander Sires got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Alejo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Rungue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Alejo to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. With a little luck, Rungue's Eduardo Quilapan got control of the ball when Faustino Eslava tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Pere Jordi Souza made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Jordi Souza in the 52nd minute of play forced Rungue's goalkeeper Eduardo Quilapan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon-Ander Sires in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Quilapan saved Rungue from getting behind. Próspero Gana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esequiel Vino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Lorenzo Barroso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esequiel Vino in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josías Serre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Jon-Ander Sires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esequiel Vino struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Josías Serre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rungue. Jon-Ander Sires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Quilapan having to make a save. When Cherquenco 's Jon-Ander Sires in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
