Jerardo Talma kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Conrado Lizana Lezana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Tobías Meneses hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucas Jaramillo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PES United's protests and gave Lucas Jaramillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes PES United got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Jaramillo. Mario Jesus Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualberto Maritano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. PES United's Mario Jesus Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristeo Roger in the 25th minute of play. Demesio Isassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Lizana Lezana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remi Ordaz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, PES United's goal looked a bit too open when Aristeo Roger came free, but Mario Jesus Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, Yalamanta FC's Gualberto Maritano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Jesus Zamora was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Yalamanta FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Conrado Lizana Lezana made the kick off in the second half. Eufrasio Bastarrica hit a great ball. If Aristeo Roger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yalamanta FC's goalkeeper Demesio Isassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Conrado Lizana Lezana made a precise shot to the right of Demesio Isassi. Yalamanta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aristeo Roger was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mario Jesus Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristeo Roger in the 75th minute of play. Benito Valverde kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gualberto Maritano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mario Jesus Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Jesus Zamora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gualberto Maritano in the 88th minute. Aristeo Roger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, PES United's goal looked a bit too open when Aristeo Roger came free, but Mario Jesus Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 99 minutes of play, PES United's Conrado Lizana Lezana made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demesio Isassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yalamanta FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
