An unexpectedly hard shot by Próspero Gana in the 6th minute of play forced Yalamanta FC's goalkeeper Demesio Isassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Igor Smith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rungue's Eduardo Quilapan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Gualberto Maritano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Gualberto Maritano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Rungue's Eduardo Quilapan got control of the ball when Gualberto Maritano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Rungue's goalkeeper Eduardo Quilapan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualberto Maritano. Rungue's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Aristeo Roger scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Quilapan, making the score, 2-0. Demesio Isassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Próspero Gana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualberto Maritano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Eduardo Quilapan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 28th minute, Tobías Meneses fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Aristeo Roger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rungue's Eduardo Quilapan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Rungue from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristeo Roger in the 47th minute of play forced Rungue's goalkeeper Eduardo Quilapan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Poulus Godínez kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Aristeo Roger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalamanta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristeo Roger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes, Tobías Meneses mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yalamanta FC and the Rungue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Poulus Godínez, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Yalamanta FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Esequiel Vino 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Próspero Gana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demesio Isassi having to interfere. Demesio Isassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esequiel Vino in the 75th minute of play. Igor Smith's late challenge caught a Rungue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Smith helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Raúl Alejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rungue's Esequiel Vino got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
