Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Puquillay's Visen Rakela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Puquillay's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Delgadillo came free, but Carlos Claro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Claro came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Hundido's Serafín Varletta. But to his dismay, Serafín Varletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hundido's Marco Abaitua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Rakela in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Julio Peñafiel during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Julio Peñafiel hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Delgadillo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Claro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Puquillay's goal looked a bit too open when Pepe Adasme came free, but Carlos Claro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Delgadillo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Claro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abraham Delgadillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Delgadillo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Claro saved Puquillay from getting behind. Serafín Varletta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Claro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serafín Varletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Delgadillo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Claro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Claro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Delgadillo in the 45th minute of play. Carlos Claro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Delgadillo's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
In the 57th minute, Hundido's Abraham Delgadillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Claro. Carlos Claro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 62 minutes into the game, one of Puquillay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Hundido. Godofredo Olate stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Claro. 0-4. With his leg Carlos Claro managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Hundido's Abraham Delgadillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Serafín Varletta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Claro having to interfere. Abraham Delgadillo in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Claro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Delgadillo in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Claro saved Puquillay from getting behind. Juan Pablo Andia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Delgadillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafín Varletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Madrid hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Carlos Claro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafín Varletta in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Puquillay's Carlos Claro got control of the ball when Abraham Delgadillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serafín Varletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Abaitua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaiver Pratt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Abraham Delgadillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Claro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
