Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cachiyuyo's Juan Fernando Anwandter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cachiyuyo were furious when Vinos Julio was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Cachiyuyo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quillaipe:s goal. Narcomillo Quintanilla had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Alonzo Infantas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Quillaipe's Alonzo Infantas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narcomillo Quintanilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Narcomillo Quintanilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Benavente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quillaipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andoni Arrau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Armando Benavente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcomillo Quintanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo's protests and gave Rodolfo Fuica a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quillaipe booed when Cachiyuyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Fuica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quillaipe's Andoni Arrau got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Teodosio Bruce made a precise shot to the right of Narcomillo Quintanilla. Cachiyuyo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Narcomillo Quintanilla came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Quillaipe's Horacio Arrué. But to his dismay, Horacio Arrué quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Narcomillo Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Arrau in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Arrué made a kick off. Narcomillo Quintanilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andoni Arrau in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes Cachiyuyo got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Duarte. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Arrué got free with Narcomillo Quintanilla in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Benavente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcomillo Quintanilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Bruce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachiyuyo's goalkeeper Narcomillo Quintanilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodosio Bruce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Narcomillo Quintanilla made a huge save. Teodosio Bruce charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Bruce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Quillaipe got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Bruce. Cachiyuyo's Narcomillo Quintanilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo from getting a goal against them. Rufino Troncoso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Narcomillo Quintanilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alonzo Infantas. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Andoni Arrau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quillaipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Andoni Arrau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcomillo Quintanilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Armando Benavente could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Narcomillo Quintanilla however easily saved by the left post. When Andoni Arrau fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quillaipe's protests and gave Andoni Arrau a yellow card for diving instead. Andoni Arrau kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Horacio Arrué sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match, Horacio Arrué tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Narcomillo Quintanilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Narcomillo Quintanilla made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Armando Benavente sent off a good shot on target. Quillaipe played a much better game than Cachiyuyo and deserved their victory. The Cachiyuyo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
