Delmiro Wittig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Real Flayers FC's Noé Markovic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmiro Wittig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Delmiro Wittig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Delmiro Wittig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noé Markovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Noé Markovic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huaquen AFC's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the match, Real Flayers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Amuscotegui came free, but Danny Hermier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Wittig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Markovic in the 41st minute of play. In the 47th minute Demesio Dutard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Hermier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noé Markovic to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Noé Markovic made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Huaquen AFC's Delmiro Wittig tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
