After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Andoni Arrau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quillaipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Andoni Arrau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Marcelo Pimentel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Marcelo Pimentel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Arrué in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Horacio Arrué shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Marcelo Pimentel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andoni Arrau got free with José Marcelo Pimentel in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Horacio Arrué came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Quillaipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Arrué couldn't finish the play. After having played for 18 minutes, Horacio Arrué managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quillaipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Arrué was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Horacio Arrué managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quillaipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Arrué was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andoni Arrau really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Xaiver Lecuna fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc galaxy's protests and gave Xaiver Lecuna a yellow card for diving instead. Xaiver Lecuna kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. fc galaxy's José Marcelo Pimentel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Arrué in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Arrué to make the kick off. A beautiful save bye fc galaxy's goalie prevented a goal. 71 minutes into the game, Vinicio Collados was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc galaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quillaipe the free kick. After a rather tough play, fc galaxy's Vinicio Collados got a free kick in the 71st minute. Horacio Arrué struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. José Marcelo Pimentel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quillaipe. Horacio Arrué received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. José Marcelo Pimentel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Horacio Arrué had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Marcelo Pimentel came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Quillaipe's Horacio Arrué. But to his dismay, Horacio Arrué quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Armando Benavente kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Eduard Monroy kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. José Marcelo Pimentel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Arrué in the 92nd minute of the match. If Andoni Arrau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in fc galaxy's zone, Andoni Arrau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Marcelo Pimentel came out of the goal and Andoni Arrau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
