Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cachiyuyo's Juan Fernando Anwandter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Balsas FC's Vasco Sarratea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Fernando Anwandter in the 4th minute of play. Narcomillo Quintanilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Babul, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcomillo Quintanilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Evelio Ipinza came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cachiyuyo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Ipinza couldn't finish the play. Narcomillo Quintanilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcomillo Quintanilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo's goal looked a bit too open when Quentín Hacke came free, but Narcomillo Quintanilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcomillo Quintanilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Abner Norambuena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abner Norambuena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Sarratea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Fernando Anwandter, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Vasco Sarratea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Fernando Anwandter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Juan Fernando Anwandter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasco Sarratea. Balsas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Fernando Anwandter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 54 played minutes Balsas FC got a freekick which was hit by Noé Solorzano. Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcomillo Quintanilla having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Cachiyuyo got a freekick which was hit by Rufino Troncoso. Cachiyuyo's Narcomillo Quintanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade in the 59th minute of play. Rodolfo Fuica hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo's zone, Quentín Hacke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcomillo Quintanilla came out of the goal and Quentín Hacke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinos Julio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Evelio Ipinza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Maritano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Juan Fernando Anwandter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Vasco Sarratea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Balsas FC's Quentín Hacke ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narcomillo Quintanilla. Narcomillo Quintanilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Vinos Julio lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cachiyuyo! Narcomillo Quintanilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade in the 86th minute of play. Vasco Sarratea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Fernando Anwandter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cachiyuyo's Narcomillo Quintanilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo from getting a goal against them. Juan Fernando Anwandter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Sarratea having to interfere. Cachiyuyo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
