José Marcelo Pimentel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balsas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Quentín Hacke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Quentín Hacke took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for José Marcelo Pimentel to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Alberto Diaz de Andrade made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, fc galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Quentín Hacke came free, but José Marcelo Pimentel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Marcelo Pimentel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. fc galaxy's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 96th minute of the game, when Asier Alenk after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Balsas FC's goal. Asier Alenk was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Balsas FC fully deserved thier win.
