If Washington Galeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Painevilu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firmín Chamaca in the 61st minute of play. Geofredo Schlubach kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Caminalla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firmín Chamaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caminalla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
