In the 2nd minute, Disvandis Davis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Albano Vial came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lecan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Vial couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Lecan got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Antonio Hodge. Paco Malbrán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Píriz in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Calvino Píriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lecan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvino Píriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ravaa's Paco Malbrán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Martínez Lamas in the 26th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Lecan's Calvino Píriz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paco Malbrán made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Paco Malbrán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Vial, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes Lecan got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manuel Knauer. Marcelo Font made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Nafarroa Hoevel sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Martínez Lamas got his second yellow card in the match during the 48th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jacinto Martínez Lamas hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Marcelo Font didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nafarroa Hoevel went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Lecan's zone, Nafarroa Hoevel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Font came out of the goal and Nafarroa Hoevel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balendín Falcone hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Francisco Antonio Hodge hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Nafarroa Hoevel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paco Malbrán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calvino Píriz in the 85th minute. Paco Malbrán made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Román Oñez y Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Calvino Píriz got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-2 in the right cross in the 87th match minute before Paco Malbrán had time to react. Disvandis Davis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Lecan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
