The audience thought a goal was coming when Eladio Sola got free with Felipe Sobuage in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Manolo Maza took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Felipe Sobuage to make any attempt to save it. Cecilio Magnani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bautista Zaldivar having to make a save. Silvestre Arata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Sobuage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naelio Egaña in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Eladio Sola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Sobuage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Manolo Maza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Sobuage. In the 90th minute, Eustacio Catoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerónimo Peluchonneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chabunco FC were victorious despite being under pressure from BOSTEROS F.C for much of the match.
