Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Arauco's Rutenio Barcena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guillermo Olguín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevan Lasa in the 3rd minute of play. A hard shot 4 in the game by Cerilo Friz from a close distance when the talented Guillermo Olguín managed to make a qualified save. Arauco's players were relieved. Pedro José Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cerilo Friz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Guillermo Olguín didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barquitos FC. Rutenio Barcena took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Porter. Mauro Porter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rutenio Barcena scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Porter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Arauco booed when Barquitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Lataste didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes, Arauco's Gualberto Panussi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Porter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arauco reached it. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Rutenio Barcena put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mauro Porter. Rutenio Barcena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Porter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Cerilo Friz struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Guillermo Olguín didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barquitos FC. The Barquitos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arauco were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Estevan Lasa to make the kick off. Estevan Lasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Guillermo Olguín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barquitos FC booed when Arauco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Val Stillfried didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Estevan Lasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estevan Lasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos José Cuadros in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Porter saved Barquitos FC from getting behind. In the 73rd minute of the match Dionisio Harriet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Olguín showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Barquitos FC's Mauro Porter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutenio Barcena in the 76th minute of play. Mauro Porter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos José Cuadros went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cerilo Friz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arauco's Guillermo Olguín was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cerilo Friz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Olguín having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Echedey Arriola during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos José Cuadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Val Stillfried managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arauco's supporters rose to their feet, but Val Stillfried was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Porter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Carlos José Cuadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Porter. Barquitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos José Cuadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The Arauco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arauco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
