In the 15th match minute, Arauco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdo Moltedo to maneuver through the defense. Roque Hamilton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guillermo Olguín made a huge save. Carlos José Cuadros struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Guillermo Olguín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Maza in the 95th minute of play.
