Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Aimani's Marcelino Sir started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matau's Darío Damjan got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Aimani's Marcelino Sir in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matau's goalie prevented a goal. Jeronimo Estévez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Estévez in the 15th minute of play forced Aimani's goalkeeper Franco Duvauchelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Alfonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Duvauchelle having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Jeronimo Estévez made a precise shot to the right of Franco Duvauchelle. Aimani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 20 played minutes Aimani got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Alcerreca. Matau's Tor Alfonso got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Aimani's Jaume Hetz got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Tor Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Matau's Tor Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Duvauchelle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreo Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Arturo Ardiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Duvauchelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Duvauchelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Alfonso in the 42nd minute of play. Tor Alfonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Duvauchelle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tor Alfonso ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Matau were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tor Alfonso made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Alfonso in the 56th minute of play forced Aimani's goalkeeper Franco Duvauchelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor Alfonso in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Duvauchelle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Tor Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Duvauchelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Matau's goal looked a bit too open when Andreo Raymond came free, but Natalio Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Sir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Estévez got free with Franco Duvauchelle in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Aimani's goalkeeper Franco Duvauchelle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Estévez. Jeronimo Estévez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franco Duvauchelle firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aimani's Franco Duvauchelle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Alfonso in the 76th minute of play. Aimani's Andreo Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Alfonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tor Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Matau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor Alfonso couldn't finish the play. Raúl Eslava hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Marcelino Sir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Natalio Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matau's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
