Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adriano Ducci took the kick off in the first half of the match. Blanco Killinge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Estévez scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blanco Killinge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Adriel Astete recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natalio Canales. Adriel Astete showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Arturo Ardiles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blanco Killinge. Fresia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Ardiles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Tor Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Canales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriel Astete in the 22nd minute of play. Teodoro Fridman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Canales having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Matau's zone, Adriano Ducci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Canales came out of the goal and Adriano Ducci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the game, Tor Alfonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Blanco Killinge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tauro Marmentini hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tor Alfonso to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Tauro Marmentini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fresia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matau the free kick. After 51 played minutes Fresia got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Marmentini. In the 53rd minute, Adriano Ducci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blanco Killinge made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jeronimo Estévez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Fresia's Blanco Killinge got control of the ball when Jeronimo Estévez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Adriano Ducci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fresia's Teodoro Fridman got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Francisco Alberto Aldea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fresia and the Matau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Fresia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Alberto Aldea to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Brown's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blanco Killinge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Adriano Ducci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Canales having to interfere. Teodoro Fridman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Natalio Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Darío Damjan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Ducci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Canales having to interfere. Teodoro Fridman struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Natalio Canales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fresia. 2-3 became the score in the 78th minute when Adriano Ducci elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Adriano Ducci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Opazo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Adriano Ducci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matau's Natalio Canales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adriano Ducci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Canales having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Teodoro Fridman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fresia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Fridman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fresia manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Matau to win.
