The tension between the Colicheo and the Ipinco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Colicheo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ipinco AFC:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baudelio Cañas during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Colicheo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Martínez Lamas to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ipinco AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
