Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mohamed Alcocer got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute Cipriano Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Carneiro in the 12th minute of play forced Club Deportes Cobreloa's goalkeeper Norberto Livingstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cipriano Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Club Deportes Cobreloa getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Isadoro Amigo hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Pelchuquin's Narcís Soler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 minutes of play, Pelchuquin's Duardo Wilkenson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Livingstone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohamed Alcocer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfonso Almeyda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Cobreloa's goalkeeper Norberto Livingstone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norino Gebauer. After having played for 39 minutes, Norino Gebauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pelchuquin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norino Gebauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvador Antúnez hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cipriano Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cipriano Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Livingstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Deportes Cobreloa defense, Norino Gebauer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Livingstone. The Club Deportes Cobreloa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Livingstone should have stopped the shot. Cipriano Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Livingstone having to interfere. Cipriano Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Carneiro took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Livingstone. Norberto Livingstone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Norino Gebauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Norberto Livingstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pelchuquin's Dionisio Aristizaval proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Pelchuquin from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Aristizaval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Alcocer in the 80th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Norino Gebauer made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Livingstone. Club Deportes Cobreloa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Carneiro in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Livingstone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pelchuquin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
