Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Calvario's Eder Villouta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Chaparano's Teofilo Puccio got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Eder Villouta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Píriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Francisco Javier Daza might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Píriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Javier Daza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Eder Villouta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermegildo Píriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Matteo Subercaseaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Chaparano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Píriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eder Villouta in the 30th minute of play. Eder Villouta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Píriz having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Francisco Javier Daza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calvario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Javier Daza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Chaparano's goal looked a bit too open when Eder Villouta came free, but Ermegildo Píriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Píriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Javier Daza in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Rutenio Macho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaparano and the Calvario players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Chaparano got a freekick which was hit by Rutenio Macho.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matteo Subercaseaux to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Dino Dragicevic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolomé Deuth hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Chaparano's Matteo Subercaseaux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Maquieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Javier Daza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Calvario's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Francisco Javier Daza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Píriz having to interfere. Gustavo Maquieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matteo Subercaseaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chaparano's zone, Bartolomé Deuth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Píriz came out of the goal and Bartolomé Deuth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaparano's Ermegildo Píriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chaparano from getting a goal against them. After having played for 83 minutes, Francisco Javier Daza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calvario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Javier Daza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Francisco Javier Daza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Calvario getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bartolomé Deuth hit a great ball.
